Privacy Policy

Plain language, grown-ups first — just like everything at Wonder Kids Academy.

Effective: October 23, 2026

Wonder Kids Academy is operated by WONDER KIDS ACADEMY INC, a Missouri corporation (“Wonder Kids Academy,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through wonderkids-academy.com and our online academy, what we never collect, and the choices grown-ups have. Questions any time: hello@wonderkids-academy.com.

Children’s privacy comes first

Wonder Kids Academy is an enrichment learning program for young children, designed to be guided by a parent or another grown-up. Children do not have accounts with us, and we do not collect personal information from children on our public website. There are no child profiles, no child logins, and no forms, games, or features on this site that ask a child for a name, age, photo, voice, location, or contact details. Our printable certificates have a blank name line that a grown-up fills in at home or in the classroom — that information never comes to us.

Inside the academy, children interact only with our animated characters and a character-voiced virtual assistant. By design, there is no chat, voice, video, or messaging between children and any real person, and we do not record or store children’s voices.

Information we collect from grown-ups

We collect only the grown-up information needed to run the academy:

  • Join-list and contact emails. If you join the parent list or write to us, we receive the email address and message you send (the join form on this site simply opens your own mail app — nothing is sent or stored by this page until you press send in your mail app).
  • Parent accounts (when enrollment opens). When academy accounts open, we will collect the parent or guardian’s name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form) to create and secure the account, plus the learning progress recorded under that account, such as ladder position and goal-check scores that a parent enters or verifies.
  • Classroom License accounts (when enrollment opens). For daycares and preschools, we collect the center’s name and location, and the director’s or teacher’s name and work email, to administer the license.
  • Payments (when enrollment opens). Purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details directly — we never see or store full card numbers. We receive limited billing records from Stripe, such as the amount, date, plan, and last four digits, so we can provide receipts and support.

Personalization by name — parent accounts only

When the academy opens, a parent may choose to enter their child’s first name or nickname inside their own parent account so the academy can greet the child by name in greetings, lessons, and on certificates. This is entirely optional and happens only with the parent’s consent, inside the parent’s private account. The name is never public, never shared, never sold, and never used for advertising, and a parent can change or remove it at any time. Until academy accounts open, no name personalization is active and no such information is collected.

How we use grown-up information

We use the information above only to operate the academy: sending the opening and account emails you asked for, signing you in, tracking the progress you record for your child, processing payments and trials, providing support, and keeping accounts secure. We do not use parent information for third-party advertising, and we do not build profiles of children.

We don’t sell personal information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information — parents’ or anyone else’s — ever.

Cookies and other websites

This website itself sets no cookies. Our episodes live on YouTube, and we share content on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram; our free Activity Book is hosted on Google Drive. When you visit those platforms, their own privacy policies and cookies apply. When checkout opens, Stripe’s pages and systems have their own privacy practices, described in Stripe’s privacy policy.

Your rights as a parent or account holder

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you — including removing your child’s first name or nickname, closing your account, or being removed from the join list. Write to hello@wonderkids-academy.com from the email address on file and we will take care of it. If you believe we have ever received personal information from a child, contact us at the same address and we will delete it promptly.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a small online service: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed account passwords, payment processing handled entirely by Stripe, and access to account information limited to people who need it to support your account. No system is perfectly secure, but children’s safety and family trust guide every choice we make.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — for example, when academy accounts or checkout open — we will update this page, change the effective date above, and describe the change here. Material changes affecting parent accounts will also be announced by email to account holders.
